2022 Disneyland Resort’s ‘Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival’ Opening Day Recap -

Disney’s “Food & Wine” Festival was an exciting experience filled with new foods, vendors and the return of some of Disney’s iconic rides.

The day began with a walk through Downtown Disney to see the rides. After walking around a bit, we headed back to the hotel because the “Food & Wine” Festival was about to begin! Upon arrival I was welcomed with great live music and visitors mingling amongst one another. They had a few speakers convey to us the new steps Disney is taking in culinary, music and vendors. The new recipes were tasty and delectable!

I took some time to speak with Teo Hunter and Beny Ashburn, co owners of Crown & Hops Brewery. The two spoke about diversifying the world of beer and also bringing their business to the city of Inglewood. They expressed that they found a need in the city that lacked a family style brewery for Black people. Their desire is to take over this industry and learning of their partnership with Disney is just the beginning for these moguls.

Before the end of the night I rode a few more rides and had a blast! Overall, my Disney experience was a good one. Thank you Disney for an amazing day.
