A Confidential Informant Was Reportedly In Tekashi 69 Crew

Photo Courtesy of Instagram/@6ix9ine Tekashi was arrested last week for RICO charges that could potentially keep him in jail for 25 years to life if found guilty. Since the news of his arrest, there have been many twists and turns but this latest development might cause some major concern for him. According to UPROXX, Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Longyear revealed that a confidential informant in Tekashi’s crew recorded interactions that will be submitted as evidence against Tekashi in court. Apparently, not only will the confidential informant’s recording be used as evidence, but prosecutors also want to use Tekashi’s social media accounts to show the rapper is “quite voluminous.” It’s been no secret that Tekashi has been wrapped up in drama his entire career. As of late, prosecutors are putting a microscope on incidents like the shooting at Barclays, and another in Brooklyn. This news comes days after another video surfaces of Tekashi saying he had “a 30 pack” on someone’s head. Tekahsi’s lawyers are definitely taking this new information of a confidential informant seriously as his lawyer said: “Anytime there is a confidential informant, there is cause for concern.” Tekashi’s court date is tentatively set for September 4th, 2019. He hasn’t been bailed out of jail and most likely will be in jail until the beginning of 2019. The prosecution is calling Tekashi 69 a flight risk if he gets bailed out of jail. The good news for 6ix9ine fans is that Tekashi 69 new album titled Dummy Boy will be available everywhere for purchase and all streaming platforms in a few hours, according to DJ Akademiks.
