People have been injured as multiple blasts hit the city of Jalalabad in Afghanistan during celebrations of its 100th Independence Day, local reports say. This comes after Saturday’s suicide bomb attack at a wedding in Kabul that claimed the lives of at least 63 people.
Seven explosions hit Jalalabad, capital city of Nangarhar province on Monday morning as the city is celebrating the Independence Day.
A health official said 34 injured have been taken to hospitals so far.
