Alemeda is also moving rapidly and does not need anybody’s permission.

Just fresh off dropping her second EP, But What The Hell Do I Know, out on Warner Records and TDE, as well as an incredible string of festival performances in the summer in both the United States and Europe, this up-and-coming pop-rock musician has just announced she is ready for center stage. She revealed she’s going on her first-ever headlining tour, dubbed the “But Where The Hell Should I Go Tour,” in February of 2026.

“The six-show series gets underway on February 18th and continues through February 26th in Los Angeles,” according to the release. “The small venues will provide the setting for plenty of guitars and some very emotional and honest songs based on the work put into the “But What The Hell Do I Know” EP.”

“I’m so excited to finally bring the music from my new EP, But What The Hell Do I Know, to the stage,” Alemeda said with excitement. “I can’t wait to see the Alemeda Army out there for my first ever headline shows!” she added.

  • Feb. 26 Los Angeles The Roxy

Tickets are available for pre-sale beginning Thursday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. local time, and then general on-sale is on December 19. Concertgoers have the option of purchasing a ticket package featuring a “Meet & Greet” and “Soundcheck” VIP, allowing them early entry, a photo op with Alemeda, attendance at her sound check, and participation in a group Q&A.

The major tour follows a breakthrough year, which turned Alemeda into a name to watch. She spent her childhood years moving back and forth between Ethiopia and Arizona as the eldest sister in an East African family, and she has always used this reality to write anthems from it. Her career spans multiple genres and continents, with performances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, the Rock en Seine Festival in Paris, All Points East, All Things Go, Austin City Limits, and Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festivals.

Musically, Alemeda combines pop, rock, and indie sounds, pairing wit with sensitivity and a clear sense of identity. She came to prominence with the track “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows,” a UK garage hit from 2021 that has more than 14 million streams to date, and with the 2024 debut EP FK IT, which cemented her track record of authentic lyrics and experimentation outside the box.

She has received support from other artists such as Doechii and Rachel Chinouriri and has performed alongside Halsey, helping her introduce herself to a global following. She has also received acclaim from critics. Complex noted that it is significant that she is a black female artist who chooses alternative music, as doing so breaks barriers and creates space for more black rock and alternative music. Alemeda is an up-and-coming rock star. With But What The Hell Do I Know out now and the first headlining shows of the year set, it appears that what Alemeda is asking is no longer a question of where she fits. She can go wherever she pleases.
