Al’Tarrek Bell: 18-Year-Old Sacrifices His Life Shielding A 10-Year-Old Boy From Gunfire

Al’Tarrek Bell, an 18-year-old from North Carolina, had his life cut short after he sacrifices his life to shield a 10-year-old boy from a hail of gunfire.

Bell mother, Izetta Howell revealed to The Courier Post, that her son was traveling to New Jersey to visit friends when his life was sadly cut short. Someone opened fire on a car that Al’Tarrek was in with the boy. Bell always vowed to always protect the young boy the family says and he did.

Bell was one of two people killed in the New Jersey town of Edgewater Park. The sheriff’s office says that 25-year-old Sadiel Gonzalez was also killed in the hail of gunfire.
