Andrea Serrano Won’t Face Prison Time After Getting Pregnant By A 13-Year-Old Boy

A Colorado woman that admitted to having a sexual encounter with an underage teenage boy and having a baby with the boy will avoid prison time with a plea deal.

Andrea Serrano, whose 31-year-old, got arrested in 2022 after police discovered she was engaging in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy. She initially faced two charges, which included; sexual assault against a child and sexual assault against a child under the age of 15 by one in a position of trust.

Serrano will be required to register as a sex offender, as being on sex offender intensive supervised probation for ten years, as the plea deal states. As long as Andrea Serrano follows these orders, which are a part of the plea deal, she won’t face prison time.

The mother of the 13-year-old boy voiced her frustration with the plea deal with KKTV. She told the news station that her son got robbed of his childhood. She even challenges gender equality with the decision of the plea deal.

“I feel like if she was a man and he was a little girl. It would definitely be different. They would be seeking more. I feel like because he is not a woman, they are not,” the victim’s mother said.

The victim’s family will reportedly seek custody of Serrano’s child.
