Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) did another Instagram live to give everyone an update on politics and issues we need address in America.
One of AOC supporters asked the congresswoman why she isn’t addressing the border crisis and kids in cages the way she used to when Donald Trump was in office.
AOC response: “It’s not a border crisis. It’s an imperialism crisis. It’s a climate crisis. It’s a trade crisis. And also it’s a carceral crisis because as I have already said, even during this term and this President, our immigration system is based and designed on our carceral system.”

This week a viral a video of migrants were packed closely together inside a temporary U.S. border processing center in Donna, Texas.
We are currently in the Biden Administration which has the public confused because the Democrats who were shredding Trump about this situation are being quiet about Biden on this situation. To give Biden credit, they are locating the parents of the children at the border. Lawyers have found 105 migrant children parents in February. Business Insider reported that Biden Administration will spend $86 million on hotel rooms for migrants due to the struggle of handling the surge of families and kids trying to come to the U.S.
