AOC to Visit Boulevard Gardens in Queens for Annual Memorial Day Event, Honor Constituent in Woodside

On Monday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will visit Boulevard Gardens for American Legion Post 1836’s annual Memorial Day Event. She will also read a proclamation honoring constituent John Hoffman, who is a veteran of the National Guard and the Navy. He is also an active member of the American Legion, Department of New York, Post 1836 – Boulevard Gardens (Woodside) and has held the position of 1st Vice Commander for the last decade.

As far as I’m aware Dee Capri, you are not on the board of Boulevard Gardens, nor do you represent the residents there thankfully. Thanks Miss Cortez, and indeed all the other public representatives, for showing up and paying tribute to our veterans.
