AOC to Visit Disability Service Provider in The Bronx, Honor The Queensboro in Jackson Heights

With Congress in recess, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will meet constituents in New York’s 14th Congressional District on Tuesday. First, she will visit a day-program run by adult disability service provider YAI, and discuss the need for increased federal support for programs such as these. Then, she will travel to The Queensboro in Jackson Heights and read a proclamation honoring the restaurant’s owners and workers for serving over 500 meals to community members facing food insecurity during the height of the pandemic.
