In the Arlo Hotel lobby, a woman dubbed Soho Karen, now identified by online users as Miya Taylor Ponsetto, can be seen accusing/assaulting musician Keyon Harrold 14-year-old son while they were getting on an elevator of stealing her iPhone and putting a phone case over it.
The woman left her phone in an Uber. The Uber driver dropped off her phone less than hour after this incident.
Ponsetto called into CNN and twisted the story but the hotel surveillance camera which was released last night revelead the truth.
During a press conference, attorney Ben Crump is joined by the parents of Keyon Harrold Jr., who was falsely accused of stealing an iPhone at a NYC hotel. The 14-year-old’s mother Kat Rodriguez says due to racial profiling “this incident could have ended very differently.”
