Olivia Rodrigo attended the premiere of her new Disney+ Original Film “OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film)” at the Regency Theater in Westwood tonight. The film, which follows Olivia along a cinematic journey exploring the story of her triple-platinum debut album “SOUR” (Geffen Records), premieres on March 25, 2022, exclusively on Disney+.
Also in attendance was Stacey Lee, the film’s director, as well as performing artists Blu DeTiger, Towa Bird and Olivia’s all-female band, who are all featured in the film. Additional celebrities included The Kid LAROI, Busy Philipps, Christina Milian, Kevin McHale and more.

As part of the event, fans from all over the country were also invited to attend the advanced screening where they received a surprise appearance from Olivia.
In “Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u,” the Grammy® nominated singer-songwriter takes a familiar road trip from Salt Lake City, where she began writing her triple-platinum debut album “SOUR” (Geffen Records), to Los Angeles. Along the way, through new live arrangements, intimate interviews and never-before-seen footage from the making of the album, audiences will follow Rodrigo as she recounts the memories of writing and creating her record-breaking debut album and shares her feelings as a young woman navigating a specific time in her life. “OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u” is a Disney+ original film from Disney Branded Television, directed by Stacey Lee and produced by Interscope Films and Supper Club.
