Beyoncé has dropped a new song titled “My House,” which will serve as the closing credits soundtrack for her upcoming Renaissance film. The song is now available for streaming in advance of the film’s global release this weekend.
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé promises an immersive experience, featuring performance footage from her recent tour, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and intimate clips. The film is set to premiere in theaters, adding to the anticipation surrounding the global release.
According to Deadline, the film is aiming for a $30-$40 million global opening during what is typically a slow post-Thanksgiving period.
“My House” not only accompanies the film but also stands as Beyoncé’s first release since her album Renaissance debuted in July 2022. The song is produced by Beyoncé & The-Dream.
Beyoncé continues to have her way in 2023. She won the year’s highest-grossing tour, the Renaissance World Tour, which grossed $579.8 million and sold 2.8 million tickets.
