Beyoncé’s longtime publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, has dismissed reports suggesting that the singer’s upcoming NFL Christmas game halftime show will be an extended 20 minutes long.
In a brief but firm statement, Noel-Schure addressed the speculation, saying, “Untrue. Her performance will not be 20 minutes.”
The clarification comes after TMZ reported that the NFL is allegedly granting Beyoncé an extended slot of 20 minutes for her halftime performance, compared to the usual 12-15 minutes afforded to previous artists. The report also noted that while the halftime break during the Christmas game lasts around 25 minutes, not all of that time is allocated to the performer.
Despite the denial, fans are buzzing with anticipation for Beyoncé’s performance, as the superstar is known for her electrifying stage presence and groundbreaking production. Whether her set clocks in at 12, 15, or 20 minutes, expectations are sky-high for what is certain to be one of the most talked-about halftime shows in recent memory.
The NFL has yet to comment on the reported halftime slot or the specifics of Beyoncé’s performance. However, given her history of delivering iconic moments—such as her 2013 Super Bowl appearance and her guest spot during Coldplay’s 2016 show—fans are confident she’ll maximize every second she’s given.
