Coi Leray is a troublemaker every season, but her new video on Instagram is making everybody clutch pearls, zoom in close up, and clip saves a million in the style of a TikTok tutorial. The rapper, who welcomed a baby in June 2025, rolled out to Target, slumped over aisle half-way, stuck out her tongue, and broke out in dance over her own song “We Time.” And, yep, it was a public spectacle vs. post-baby body flex.
The soundtrack? Leray’s sultry lyrics streaming through the speakers: “I can wait till we get home, can’t keep my composure / Throw me on the sofa, got somethin’ to show ya” Appropriate? Not at all. Viral? Yes.
Baby Weight, Booty Controversies, and BBL Allegations
The internet never missed in criticizing the clips. Some commended her new figure, swearing about cursing motherhood having gifted her with the curves. One follower said, “that baby weight suit her ????.” Another said, “that baby did her justice ????.”
Others were less gracious. The critics question the natural versus surgically enhanced question about Leray’s new booty. One of her critics tweeted, “You can tell she wanted to be thick the whole life chile… And the ass ain’t there Coi ????.”Another joked, “Lol Coi stuck this lil ass booty in a skin tight outfit and the net go crazy ????.”
And then there are the loyalists, who will not let the BBL allegations stick. “Now she got a medium diaper y’all wanna get at her. I remember the attacks on my lil booty queen,” one of her supporters ranted.
Mom-Shaming in Public and Sexual Freedom
Of course, being a new mom, the backlash just grew louder. Some are side-eying her dancing seductively in a Target of all places, barely two months after giving birth. Some others are applauding her boldness and labeling it the very kind of post-baby freedom all females require.
One believer admitted, “What’s crazy is me saving this in my phone 5 times.” Another came directly to the point about unsolicited advice: “Have a kid slim chicks it helps with the filling in.”
And then the last comparison, because the internet is all about dirty comparisons. Someone was gonna ask, “Was this what Sexyy Red was tryna wear earlier?” why not directly compare two unapologetic women for the entertainment of the culture?
