Conor McGregor turned himself in yesterday to the authorities for his incident he had at the UFC 223 media day on Thursday. He showed up with an entourage and started to throw objects at the bus Khabib Nurmagomedov was on. They showed up because Khabib and his team confronted one of Conor teammates when he was alone earlier in the week.
Conor was just seen leaving the police station in handcuffs. He most likely be sued from fighters on the UFC 223 card. Also, he might be charged with assault. I truly don’t believe he will face any jail time if anything he will be put on probation.
The UFC will probably end up suspending Conor McGregor but not for along time because Conor is there cash cow.
UFC lost three fights for its Saturday pay-per-view event directly connected to the incident involving McGregor, the UFC said in a statement late Thursday.
Lightweight Michael Chiesa (14-3) has been pulled from a scheduled bout against Anthony Pettis because of facial lacerations. Flyweight Ray Borg (11-3) has been forced out of a bout against Brandon Moreno because of what the UFC described as multiple corneal abrasions. Both injuries were allegedly caused by McGregor’s actions.
Now, they kicked Max Holloway off the card. So Anthony Pettis will face Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight championship tomorrow night.
This isn’t good for Conor McGregor fans they might not see him in the octagon until 2019.
