It notably marks his official debut for Epic Records and hints at much more solo music to come from the multitalented musical force.
The track’s airy production underlines his surgically precise flow. Clever rhymes collect momentum before colliding with a raw, yet honestly heartfelt hook expressing vulnerability.

Philly born and Delaware raised Derrick Milano continues to assert himself as a prolific presence in the music industry, having won a 2021 GRAMMY for co-writing Megan thee Stallion’s “Savage” and it’s Beyonce-featuring remix. Along the way, he put up numbers on early independent solo releases of his own, such as Play Wit It, Cellular, and the 2020 collaborative project 1/2 Man 1/2 Wolf with producer Danny Wolf. Now, he kicks off what promises to be his biggest chapter yet with his hit “die4iT” and more to come.
