The cast of “Don’t Worry Darling” made some noise at the Venice International Film Festival earlier today at the premiere.
There has a lot of drama surrounding this film, especially with Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh. The two are reportedly not seeing eye to eye with each other over how the shoot went down in 2020, but Wilde has denied these claims. While at the premiere in Venice, it appeared Pugh avoided Wilde. Pugh only attended the premiere at Venice Film Festival even though she arrived in Venice during the same time as the “Don’t Worry Darling” press conference.
Wilde also made headlines after speaking about Shia LaBeouf‘s departure from the film. It appeared Wilde insinuated LaBeouf got fired to keep her cast protected. LaBeouf immediately denied those claims and revealed he quit after not getting enough time to rehearse. A video surfaced on social media of Olivia Wilde pleading with Shia LaBeouf to stay on the film.
Florence Pugh received massive cheers during the 4-minute standing ovation for “DON’T WORRY DARLING,” but the film is currently receiving mixed reviews.
“Don’t Worry Darling” will open in theaters in North America on September 23rd and internationally beginning on September 21st.
