Drake’s Continues to Show Growth and Dominance on ‘Scary Hours 2’ EP

Drake came through with a three-pack of heat on Friday with ‘Scary Hours 2.’
The highly anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy hasn’t dropped yet, but Drake gave his fans a little taste of what is to be expected. Via Instagram, Drake announced that he was dropping a three song project titled Scary Hours 2 and it has fans on their toes for his album coming soon. The project includes features from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. Drake and Rick Ross are known for their numerous collaborations and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” adds on to the list of gems. “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” might be the best song on the project because of the slow, smooth, beat that Drake is known for and better yet his flow goes on for about three minutes of the song. There is always a debate on whether Drake’s fans like the rapping Drake or the singing Drake, but it seems like the rapper Drake shined through on this project. In addition to the new singles, Drake also dropped a music video for “What’s Next” that shows different views of his hometown, Toronto. Since the project dropped, there has been talk about a possible joint project with Drake and Rick Ross so the fans have a lot to look forward to from Drake. https://youtu.be/7EUVJaKJtBY Drake occupied the entire top 3 on US Apple Music with every song from ‘Scary Hours 2’. All three songs are currently on pace to make a top 20 debut on the Billboard Hot 100. “What’s Next” expected to go in the top 5 next week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
