Disney+ announced that episode one of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was their most-watched series premiere ever. Ahead of popular shows like WandaVision and The Mandalorian.
The show stars Anthonie Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. They handle the world post-blip and without the first Captain America, Steve Rogers. In addition to seeing some familiar faces, the show introduces us to many new ones, including villain Karli Morgenthau played by Erin Kellyman, and Falcon’s sister Sam Wilson played by Adpero Oduye.
We had the opportunity to speak to both of them about their work on the Marvel Studios series. The series is part of Phase Four of the MCU, and a new episode drops every Friday until April 23rd and can be found exclusively on Disney+.
