Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Investigator, James Freeman Shoots and Kills Family Dog After Going to the Wrong House

A video of a man cussing out an investigator after he kills the man dog has gone viral on social media.

Faulkner County Sheriff Office investigator, James Freeman, was investigating a sex offender compliance check but went to the wrong home. Which ultimately led to the dog death.

Chris Coiner, the owner of the dog, spoke with a KATV about the situation. He revealed to the outlet that Freeman shot and killed the dog because he war barking at him. He also revealed that Freeman was at the right house, he initially went to before coming to his house.

“I asked him why he was here, and he said he was looking for somebody named Samuel at 72 Autumn Hills Road which is the next-door neighbor,” said Coiner. “I didn’t know this at the time, but I had found out he had already been to 72 which was the right address, so he knew he was not at the right address and he shot my dog for barking at him.”

Chief Deputy Matt Rice confirmed Freeman is still on duty. The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an internal investigation after an investigator shot and killed the family dog.
