HBO has released the first-look images of ‘House of the Dragon’ season 1, episode 3. The photos include key cast members such as Rhys Ifans, Paddy Considine, Gavin Spokes, David Horovitch, Milly Alcock, Bill Paterson, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Matt Smith.
In ‘House of the Dragon’ season 1, episode 3 will fast forward three years into the future. King Visery and Alicent Hightower are married and have a son named Aegon. This marriage is the beginning of the end for House Targaryen. They had a chance to unite House Velaryon and Targaryen but didn’t, which cause Corlys Velaryon to visit the King’s brother Daemon to create a pact.
For the games to begin, King Viserys must die, and he might die from an illness. The first episode showed cuts on the king’s back that are struggling to heal because of the lack of antibiotics in this era.
While “Game of Thrones” ended poorly. Fans seem to be back and excited for “House of the Dragon” after the show drew in 9.986 million viewers across linear and HBO Max platforms in the U.S. Sunday night, the largest audience for any new original series in the history of HBO.
New episodes of “House of the Dragon” will debut each week at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max, leading up to the finale on October 23rd.
