In 2006, Cariol Horne, a Buffalo police officer, intervened when officer Gregory Kwiatkowski had a suspect, David Mack, in a chokehold.
Horne jumped on Kwiatkowski’s back to prevent him from harming Mack.
She was fired from BPD for her actions and lost her pension.
They talk about the good cops and assume they will stop the bad cops from committing police brutality, but when that very thing happened here in Buffalo, Cariol Horne was fired and lost her pension.
