‘Full Circle’ Starring Zazie Beetz and Claire Danes Debuts July 13th

The teaser trailer for the upcoming six-episode limited series “Full Circle,” directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh and written by Ed Solomon, has been released by Max.

According to the official synopsis, the series is about an investigation into a botched kidnapping reveals long-held secrets linking multiple characters and cultures in modern-day New York City.

Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant, CCH Pounder, Phaldut Sharma, Adia, Sheyi Cole, Gerald Jones, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes, Dennis Quaid are among the cast members.

The suspenseful interconnectedness mystery gets revealed in this first trailer. Soderbergh also worked on the 2017 HBO murder mystery “Mosaic,” starring Sharon Stone and written by Ed Solomon; he also served as showrunner and executive producer on the Cinemax series “The Knick.”

Soderbergh’s film “Let Them All Talk,” starring Meryl Streep and Candice Bergen, premiered exclusively on HBO Max in 2020, demonstrating his preference for streaming as a distribution channel for his films.

The previous year, his tech thriller “Kimi,” starring Zoe Kravitz, was also released on HBO Max. HBO, HBO Max, and the director of “Sex, Lies, and Videotape” signed an overall first-look deal in January 2020.

“Magic Mike’s Last Dance” was originally intended to be a straight-to-HBO-Max play, but Warner Bros. ultimately decided to release the film in theaters after receiving positive test screenings.

‘Full Circle’ premieres on July 13th, with two episodes airing weekly until the finale on July 27th.
