Ghanian Afrobeats Star Stonebwoy is Firm & Strong In His New Single Gidigba

Grammy-nominated international phenomenon Stonebwoy is adding another hit to his catalog with the new single Gidigba. Gidigba is an African (Yoruba – Nigerian language) term translated to “Firm & Strong” (in English). Stonebwoy’s signature melodic cadence drifts between Ghanaian and Jamaican as he celebrates his journey on an infectious Afrobeats. The single has an upbeat, feel-good groove that makes it ideal for all playlists from intimate gatherings to massive parties. Gidigba is available for streaming on all musical platforms on September 9th, 2022.

Stonebwoy is a billboard artist widely considered the king of African reggae dancehall music. He has amassed several international hits and collaborations with artists like Sean Paul, Emeli Sande, Trey Songz, Davido, and more. Hailing from Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra. Stonebwoy rose to international stardom after being the first artist of his kind to win a BET Award in 2015 and has subsequently won many other international awards such as AFRIMA, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award as well as receiving nominations from MTV EMA, Grammy Awards, MOBO and more.
