Actor and streamer Grace Van Dien has deactivated her X (formerly Twitter) account following a heated exchange with several members of the gaming organization FaZe Clan. The online feud began after Van Dien criticized FaZe members during the Streamer Awards and later on social media.
“faze guys are so brave online but just stared and whispered whenever they saw me last night. micro energy,” Van Dien tweeted earlier today.
Her remarks quickly drew sharp responses from FaZe Clan members, including co-founder FaZe Banks, who escalated the situation with a harsh reply:
“You’re a slam pig lol, nobody’s afraid of your baby voices or your 80 lbs emo boyfriend. Stop clinging onto our shit, nobody knows you or gives a f* about you. You tried to force your way into FaZe, you’re a f*ing cornball that none of us wanted and YOU’RE STILL MAD.”
Other FaZe members also joined in. FaZe Kaysan mocked Van Dien’s continued engagement with the topic, tweeting:
“Lol says the person who woke up the next day and is tweeting about us. Rent free. Humble yourself a little, I promise we do not care about you, respectfully.”
FaZe Ronaldo took a different approach, offering a seemingly sarcastic olive branch:
“Let’s fix this grace, let me take you out to dinner. No no no… not the faze boys, just us.”
The exchange quickly gained traction online, with fans and critics alike weighing in on the feud. Some supported Van Dien for calling out FaZe Clan’s alleged behavior, while others sided with the gaming organization, criticizing her for instigating the conflict.
The controversy adds to a history of tensions between Van Dien and FaZe Clan, dating back to her brief association with the group. Her decision to deactivate her account suggests the backlash may have taken a toll, though she has yet to issue a formal statement regarding the incident.
