On February 23, Ahmad Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, went running through a Georgia neighborhood for exercise. He was fatally shot by a white father and son. Two months later, police haven’t arrested either of the men or charged them with a crime.
Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael and William Bryan jr. have been charged with malice and felony murder for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia.
The indictment comes almost four months to the day Arbery was shot while on on his daily jog.
