Halyna Hutchins: ‘Rust’ Cinematographer Dies After Alec Baldwin Prop Gun Misfires

A 42-year-old woman has died and a man has been hospitalized after a prop gun with blanks misfired on the set of an Alec Baldwin film in New Mexico.

The woman who died has been identified as Halyna Hutchins, who was serving at the cinematographer for the upcoming film ‘Rust.’

The director Joel Souza was wounded and taken by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe. One crew member. They were two other crew members who were injured but their names have not been released.
