HBO has unveiled the second teaser for its highly anticipated drama series “DUNE: PROPHECY,” co-produced with Legendary Television. Debuting this November on HBO and HBO Max, the six-episode saga ventures 10,000 years before Paul Atreides’ rise to power within the vast universe created by Frank Herbert.
“DUNE: PROPHECY” centers on two Harkonnen sisters who confront existential threats and lay the groundwork for the influential Bene Gesserit. The series draws inspiration from Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s novel “Sisterhood of Dune.”
The production boasts a star-studded cast featuring Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, and Mark Strong. Joining them are Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, and a talented supporting cast.
Alison Schapker takes the lead as showrunner and executive producer. Diane Ademu-John co-develops the series and shares executive producer credits. Director Anna Foerster also serves as executive producer, having helmed the series premiere.
The project benefits from a powerhouse team of executive producers including Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns, and Jon Spaihts. Sci-fi author Brian Herbert himself lends his expertise alongside Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert, representing the Frank Herbert estate. New York Times bestseller Kevin J. Anderson joins the team as co-producer.
This collaboration between HBO and Legendary Television marks another chapter in the “Dune” universe. Legendary Television is also behind the critically acclaimed “Dune” film franchise, with two installments already captivating audiences. The first film garnered a remarkable six Academy Awards®.

Oh my GOD it’s Jessica Barden from End of the F’ing World!!!!!!
No matter how hard Hollywood tries to adapt Dune, it will never capture the magic of reading the novels.
