The Nun is an upcoming gothic supernatural horror film directed by Corin Hardy and written by Gary Dauberman, from a story by Dauberman and James Wan. It is a spin-offof 2016’s The Conjuring 2 and the fifth installment in The Conjuring Universefranchise. The film stars Demián Bichir, Taissa Farmiga and Jonas Bloquet. The plot follows a priest and a Catholic novitiate, as they uncover an unholy secret in 1952 Romania. The film is set to be released in the United States on September 7, 2018.
Last night we had the opportunity to attend the premiere at the TCL Chinese theatre in Hollywood. We got to interview the cast of the movie.
PLOT:
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together, they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.
Make sure you watch “The Nun” in a theater nearby you this Friday. Bring a love one just in case you need to jump in somebody arms.
