A Florida teen was charged with extortion and cyber stalking after he threatened to leak photos and videos of a state senator’s breasts. Jeremy Kamperveen, 19, of Plantation, had obtained the photos of Florida Senator Lauren Book and initially requested that she pay $5,000 to remove them. Kamperveen had communicated with Book through text, which included sending photos of the official with her breasts exposed, and even threatened to end her career by sending them out to Fox News.
Officials said Kamperveen admitted to sending the information and photos to Book. When searching Kamperveen’s cell phone, the agent reported that they found the messages and a folder containing Book photos and videos. The arrest report did not explain how Kamperveen obtained the photos.
