Hundreds occupy Amazon’s Manhattan store to protest the company’s involvement with ICE

On Sunday, thousands of people marched simultaneously all over the country to protest against the internment of immigrants. In New York, dozens were reported arrested after refusing to leave an Amazon flagship store where they demanded that the company cut ties with ICE.

Today is Tisha B’av, a day of mourning in the Jewish tradition.

We gather to mourn the lives lost & destroyed as our government, with willing corporate partners, terrorizes immigrants andlocks people in concentration camps.
