In celebration of her new milestone, she released her brand-new single, “Reno (Feat. Colde),” on October 28. The song exudes an intoxicating vibe that surely showcases her as an idol turned solo artist. The release of her new single marks the start of her forthcoming second mini album, MY, Lover, on November 3rd.

As Cho Mi-yeon, born in 1997, MIYEON comes from a background that is anything but new to artistry. Prior to her 2018 debut in the K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, she had training in violin, guitar, and piano composition. In addition to her work within the music industry as a member of K-pop group (G)I-DLE, she earned worldwide fame as the face of Ahri in the virtual K-pop idol group K/DA, whose crossover hit title track “POP/STARS” ruled Billboard’s World Digital Songs chart. Today, as a solo musician, she combines everything that has been part of her training thus far.
