Taylor Swift announced that she began re-recording her first six albums following a dispute over her older masters a year ago today.
Since then, she has released Fearless Taylors Version and Red Taylors Version. The latter is now Swift’s most critically acclaimed project to date.
Red Taylors Version is projected to debut at #1 in the US with 475-525K units (275-325K pure sales), HITSDD reports. It will mark the second biggest debut of the year (behind Drake) and Swift’s tenth #1 album.
iHeartRadio recently announce they will be replacing Taylor Swift’s old music with the new versions as they are released, and will only play ‘Taylor’s Version’ on their stations.
