BARRED DEM REPS SPEAK: Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib speak to the press about travel restrictions to the Palestinian territories and Israel.
Rep. Ilhan Omar: "The decision to ban me and my colleague, the first two Muslim-American women elected to Congress, is nothing less than an attempt by an ally of the United States to suppress our ability to do our jobs as elected officials." https://t.co/AtMFuaE5JJ pic.twitter.com/uSqFN66L3C

Tlaib and Omar, the first two Muslim women in Congress, were refused entry to Israel last week after Pres. Trump tweeted that it would ‘show great weakness’ if they were allowed in.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu defended the decision to bar the two House members from visiting Jerusalem and the West Bank, citing their involvement with the ‘Boycott, Divest, and Sanction’ movement.
