Inside of Oxford High School School Shooting

The Oakland County Sheriff’s office said that a 15-year-old student was taken into custody after a fatal shooting involving a handgun occurred at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, MI on Tuesday. Local authorities confirmed that three students were fatally shot and six others, including a teacher, were injured.

Michigan officials say the parents of the 15-year-old suspect in the Oxford high school shooting spoke briefly with officers, but they told their son not to speak with police.

A student from inside Oxford High School captured this footage of the possible shooter trying to get into the classroom by impersonating a sheriff. The students did not open the door and escaped through a window.

Parents of students at Oxford High School have reportedly said there were rumblings that an incident like today’s shooting would happen. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged rumors about warning signs and said they were being investigated.
