Issa Rae has joined the cast of Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse 2.

She will reportedly voice Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman, in upcoming animated sequel.

Rae will join Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld, who will be reprising their roles of Spider-Man aka Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse that was released in 2018 grossed over $375 million dollars.

The sequel has a release date of Oct. 7, 2022.
