Japan’s 13-Year-Old Momiji Nishiya Wins the First-Ever Gold Medal in Women’s Skateboarding at the Olympics

Nishiya won the women’s street skateboarding event with 15.26 to claim the first female skateboarding gold in the Olympics on Monday. Fellow 13-year-old Rayssa Leal of Brazil grabbed silver with 14.64 and Funa Nakayama of Japan clinched bronze with 14.49.
