Jury finds three former Minneapolis police officers guilty of federal civil rights violations in the murder of George Floyd

Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane were found guilty of federal civil rights violations on Thursday for failing to intervene in the murder of George Floyd. Last April, ex-cop Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for Floyd’s death during an arrest in May 2020.
