Country music artist Kacey Musgraves says she witnessed three unidentified orbs trailing her private plane for about 45 minutes during a flight from Little Rock, Arkansas, to Nashville, Tennessee, describing the objects as forming triangle patterns and changing color and brightness.
Musgraves posted a series of videos to her Instagram story, saying the orbs appeared at roughly 50,000 feet and behaved unlike any aircraft she recognized.
“So I just got off a plane. I flew from Fort Worth to Nashville. It was me and one of my managers, Bobby. And we just had the craziest f***ing orb UFO experience,” Musgraves said. “He saw it with me.”
Musgraves said she was preparing to sleep aboard the plane when the lights first caught her attention.
“I noticed them. I’m a noticer. I’m always noticing things, but I was about to lay down and take a nap, and I saw these lights that caught my eye that just didn’t look normal,” she said. “I watched them for a minute, and they were definitely like trailing each other.”
She estimated the objects were flying at approximately 50,000 feet and said she observed them for roughly 45 minutes before filming them on her phone.
“It looks like I filmed them on a f***ing toaster, but that’s the quality that’s what we’re working with,” Musgraves said. “I have an iPhone 17, so like, but it was just hard to focus because they were far off and it’s nighttime.”
The footage shows shaky, out-of-focus points of light filmed through a plane window, with arrows and circles added to identify the objects.
“These orbs were not moving like any craft that we can control,” Musgraves said. “They were intermittently coming and going, forming triangle patterns. They were kind of an orangish color. Sometimes they would get extremely bright and change color, change size.”
Musgraves said the objects tracked the plane across two states.
“They followed us from about the Little Rock area, that’s when I noticed them, all the way to Nashville,” she said.
Upon landing, Musgraves said she and her manager asked the flight crew whether they had observed anything unusual. She said both pilots confirmed seeing the orbs and reported that similar sightings had become a nightly occurrence.
“The pilots, you know, come back, open the door or whatever. And we’re like, did y’all just see something weird? And they’re like, three orbs off in the sky,” Musgraves recounted. “Both pilots were laughing, kind of. And they were like, yeah, we’ve seen these every single night, and all the other pilots are seeing them too. And nobody knows what they are.”
She said one pilot reported seeing comparable objects the previous night over New York, while the other cited a recent sighting over Dallas.
Musgraves revealed this wasn’t her first time experiencing this and started describing a years-long history of unexplained aerial observations.
“This is not the first time. I’ve seen many crazy things. I mean, literally, keep looking up. I’ve seen fire burning in the sky, things that I can’t explain,” she said. “It’s been happening for years.”
The Country music artist acknowledged the inherent difficulty of convincing skeptics regardless of evidence.
“You could have the best, most high-quality footage of something and no one would believe it anyway,” Musgraves said.
The Grammy-winning singer urged followers to share their own experiences and said she spotted an additional unidentified object shortly after arriving home.
“Is anyone else out there, y’all seeing stuff?” she said. “I just made it back home, and I saw another one. Keep it weird, y’all.”
