In an exciting announcement, BET revealed that the talented Emmy Award-winning actress, musical artist, producer, and entrepreneur Keke Palmer will be hosting the highly anticipated “Soul Train Awards” 2023.

Known as the house party of the year, this event celebrates the best in Soul, R&B, and Hip Hop, showcasing both industry legends and promising up-and-coming artists.

Taking place in Los Angeles, CA, this year’s “Soul Train Awards” aims to reimagine the traditional award show format, creating an intimate and unforgettable night dedicated to honoring the iconic legacy brand and soul music.

With a lineup of incredible performers including BJ The Chicago Kid, Coco Jones, Danté Bowe, Fridayy, Muni Long, SWV, and of course, Keke Palmer herself, viewers can expect an evening filled with spectacular performances.

As the host of the “Soul Train Awards” 2023, Keke Palmer brings her globally recognized multihyphenate talent and infectious energy to the stage.

In terms of nominations, Summer Walker, SZA, and Usher emerged as front-runners, earning an outstanding nine nods each. This historic three-way tie showcases the immense talent and impact of these artists in the soul music genre. The nominations were determined by a voting academy comprising respected music industry insiders, performers, and presenters.

Overseeing the annual show will be Connie Orlando herself, while Jamal Noisette, VP of Specials & Music Programming, will join her as an executive producer for BET.

Jesse Collins, CEO of Jesse Collins Entertainment, will serve as the executive producer of “Soul Train Awards” 2023, accompanied by Jeannae Rouzan-Clay and Dionne Harmon from Jesse Collins Entertainment.
