Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free have launched a company called pgLang. They say: “It is not a ‘record label,’ a ‘movie studio,’ or a ‘publishing house.’ This is something new.”
They’re focused on cultivating raw expression from grassroots partnerships. Lamar describes it as “Selfless. Reset.” Here is a clip from the promo footage they just released.
“We embrace the idea of anarchy” is not a sentence we expected to see in your mission statement, Kendrick Lamar.
The “visual statement” stars Kendrick, Jorja Smith, Yara Shahidi, Baby Keem and more.
