The Upside actor, 40, was hospitalized on September 1 after his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off Mulholland Highway, crashed through wooden fencing on the side of the road, rolled over and landed in a ditch in the Los Angeles area. TMZ reported on Wednesday, September 11, that he had been released from the hospital and was in an in-patient rehab facility.
Jared Black was driving Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when he lost control and the car veered down an embankment. Both Hart and Black suffered “major back injuries” from the crash and a third passenger was not injured.
