Brooklyn Center Police officer Kim Potter, who fatally shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop, has resigned from the force effective immediately.
The resignation letter, she sent to the mayor, acting city manager and the police chief.

Potter should have been fired and arrested for murder, not given a chance for resignation. This system has failed again for the millionth time.
Many speculate that since she served 26 years as a police officer, this will enable her to draw a pension, helped funded by the family of the man she just murdered.
