Laura Harrier Calls Out Shameik Moore for Posting Old Video: “You’re a F*ing Weirdo”

Actress Laura Harrier has taken to TikTok to set the record straight about her personal life, revealing that she is engaged and expressing frustration over a social media post by fellow actor Shameik Moore.

In a rare candid moment, Harrier, known for her privacy, addressed the situation in a TikTok video. “Hey, so I never talk on this thing… I’m a really private person, so I don’t really like to talk about relationships publicly or anything really personal publicly, to be honest,” she began.

Harrier explained that she decided to speak out after being repeatedly tagged in videos and posts speculating about her relationship with Moore. The rumors stemmed from a video Moore shared, which featured the two actors together at a party over a year ago.

“When he first posted that video, a friend sent it to me and was like, ‘Did you know he put this up?’ And I was like, no,” Harrier said. “That was taken a year ago at a party when somebody asked us to take photos together. I guess somebody was filming it. Not sure why you would post that now.”

Harrier shared that she reached out to Moore directly, requesting that he take down the video. “I texted him… I said, ‘Hey, can you take this down? Not sure why you would post that. Also, I’m literally getting married, and I don’t like this insinuation that there’s something going on between us.’”

Despite her request, the video remained online, prompting Harrier’s frustration. “It’s still up, which is fing weird. You’re a fing weirdo. I’m sorry, you’re a fing weirdo, and I’m fing annoyed,” she said, clearly exasperated.

The actress emphasized that her engagement and relationship are deeply important to her. “I don’t like my marriage being disrespected… I don’t like feeling disrespected when I ask somebody to take something down that you’re using my image to get attention with and not doing it.”

Harrier acknowledged publicly addressing the issue might spark criticism but felt compelled to speak out. “Everybody probably says [I] shouldn’t even be talking about this and just let it go, but that’s something that’s important to me,” she said.
