When we all heard Jussie Smollett got attacked by white men with MAGA hats that poured bleach and tied a noose around his neck we felt compassion for the young Empire star.
As the investigation continued on we all really started to dissect Jussie Smollett case. First thing first we started to doubt that white men in DOWNTOWN CHICAGO were walking around at 2AM with noose screaming out the N word. Second thing is bleach would freeze up in below 0 temperature. Third thing is there was nothing on the surveillance cameras that proved his allegations.
Jussie Smollett did an interview with ABC News Robin Roberts. When he describes the attack it sounds like he’s only mentioning one person that attacked him.
Jussie also allegedly paid the brothers $4000 dollars to stage the attack.
TMZ reported that police claim that Abel and Ola Osundairo revealed to them that they got in a car with Jussie and looked for a location, settling on the one right outside the actor’s apartment. They looked for a location that would be in direct view of a camera.
Apparently, the star decided to carry out the attack because a threatening letter he received a week earlier failed to get a bigger reaction. CBS 2 reports that Smollett was upset about the lack of attention the letter had received at Chicago’s Cinespace Studios, where “Empire” is set. CBS wrote that “when the letter didn’t get enough attention, he concocted the staged attack.”
The brothers reveal that they were told to get “physical” with the actor.
In addition, it is reported that the brothers played out the attack as usual and screamed that they recognized Jussie from “Empire.” They also shouted homophobic epithets at him.
The brother’s claim that they did not intend to harm Jussie.
