Lebron & Lupita Host CANDYMAN Screenings + A Look Inside CANDYMAN

This weekend, a star studded list of Lupita Nyong’o and Lebron and Savannah James’ family and friends were among the first to see Nia DaCosta’s CANDYMAN, the latest horror feature from Jordan Peele’s MonkeyPaw Productions. On Friday the 13th on the West Coast, Lebron and Savannah James’ masked screening took place at the London Hotel screening room in Los Angeles. Guests included Bronny James, Russell Westbrook, Chris Johnson and Randy Mims. LeBron’s Lobos 1707 tequila was on deck with signature cocktails themed to the film.

On Sunday evening in Atlanta, Lupita Nyong’o screened CANDYMAN for about 25 of her friends, family and a few of her Black Panther 2 co-stars in Atlanta. Notable guests included Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, Ruth Carter and Dominique Thorne. The actress hosted a pre-screening cocktail hour, mingled with her guests, passed out Candyman t-shirts and sipped on specialty cocktails named Sweet Insanity and Legend Has It.
