Lily Allen is gearing up to head to North America and bring along a massive spring show. Following the success of turning her album West End Girl into a global smash with over 150 million streams, Lily has just announced a headlining tour across North America next year. I am thrilled.
A Tour Based on an Album Which is Still Playing Inside My Head
The name of the show is Lily Allen Performs West End Girl. She is going to perform the album from start to finish. No skippage, and expect none of the surprise remixes. Just the story behind the songs, as Lily intended. It feels very much like a big artistic project.
This is her biggest North America tour to date, featuring big city venues ranging from Chicago to San Francisco. The tour starts on April 3rd at Chicago and moves on to Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, finally ending on April 28th at San Francisco. All of the venues are classic, and each show is obviously important.
