Limited Number of Monkeypox Vaccine Pre-Registration Slots In Los Angeles Now Available!

The JYNNEOS monkeypox vaccine supply remains very limited in Los Angeles County.
On this page, you can sign up to get on a list for a monkeypox vaccine if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Currently, you can sign-up to get vaccinated in Los Angeles County if you are:

  • A gay or bisexual man and a transgender person 18 years of age and older who had multiple or anonymous sex partners in the last 14 days including engaging in survival and/or transactional sex (e.g., sex in exchange for shelter, food, and other goods and needs).
  • If you met the prior eligibility criteria you are still eligible for vaccination (i.e., you are a gay or bisexual man or a transgender person and you had gonorrhea or early syphilis in the past 12 months, or you are on HIV PrEP, or you had anonymous sex or sex with multiple partners within the past 21 days in a commercial sex venue or another venue).

The criteria for being vaccinated may be updated in the future. Signing up online will place you on a list and you will be notified as soon as it is your turn. The vaccine supply remains limited and some members in our community who are at higher risk may be prioritized for vaccination.

Once it is your turn, you will receive a text message at the phone number that you provide with additional information on where or how to get vaccinated. You may be asked to go to a walk-up vaccine site or someone may call you to make an appointment at a clinic. The text message is only for those that receive the message. Do not share the message. Be prepared to show the text and your ID for verification.

See the Public Health monkeypox homepage for more information about monkeypox, what to do if you think you have monkeypox, and updates on vaccine availability.
