Linda Fairstein Should Be Locked Up Behind Bars

Ava DuVernay, the creative force behind Netflix new series When They See Us is having people outraged but the injustices going on to black people in this circus show of a country.

When They See Us is about the notorious case of five black teenagers, labeled the Central Park Five, who were convicted of a rape they did not commit. The four part limited series focuses on the five teenagers from Harlem — Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise. Beginning in the spring of 1989, when the teenagers were first questioned about the incident, the series will span 25 years, highlighting their exoneration in 2002 and the settlement reached with the city of New York in 2014.

The prosecutor of this case, Linda Fairstein ruined these young black men dreams and she won’t be facing anytime jail time. Instead she went on to become a successful author and won awards such as “woman of the year.”

It’s ironic for Glamour Magazine shouting out the Netflix series When They See Us because in 1993, just THREE YEARS after the Central Park five were convicted, Glamour awarded Linda Fairstein with the “Woman of the Year” award. Never rescinded, even after exoneration. If you’re not mad, you’re not paying attention.

Linda Fairstein is the EPITOME of TOXIC WHITE FEMINISM,RACISM, and PREJUDICE.
