This morning VIRGIN FEST announced the lineup for the highly anticipated music and tech festival set to take place across multiple stages on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th at Banc of California Stadium + Exposition Park in Los Angeles. With an epic focus on People and Planet, VIRGIN FEST is comprised of a diverse roster of international superstars and emerging artists, spanning across the spectrum of musical genres and transcending borders to present an inclusive, eco-conscious, weekend-long celebration.

Headlining the inaugural festival is pop phenomenon LIZZO, who just took home 3 GRAMMYs including the award for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album (VIRGIN FEST is also set as her ONLY performance in Los Angeles before Summer).

Joining her on the bill is multi-hyphenate hip hop superstar A$AP ROCKY and the world’s most sought after chart-toppers including multi-GRAMMY winner ANDERSON. PAAK & THE FREE NATIONALS, Jamaican-American electronica dance music trio MAJOR LAZER, British pop hitmaker ELLIE GOULDING, Columbian superstar and genre-defying KALI UCHIS, English R&B singer-songwriter JORJA SMITH, on-the-rise alternative pop singer BANKS, YouTube sensation and “Pretty Girl” singer CLAIRO, GRAMMY-nominated TANK AND THE BANGAS, Korean-American indie pop artist JAPANESE BREAKFAST and Chinese singer-songwriter LAY ZHANG who rose to fame in K-pop super group Exo.

Tickets and packages are now on sale – pricing begins at $229 for a FAN ticket, usually known as “General Admission”, but at an event where no one is general, all ticket holders will receive entry to BEYOND’s innovation hub, DTOUR’s secret theatre as well as access to complimentary WiFi, select indoor lounges and climate controlled bathrooms. For those looking for additional upgrades, multiple levels of VIP are available with upscale amenities and experiences from backstage artist hangs and pre-party access to side stage viewing areas and dedicated on-site concierge services.

“Music is an emotional force of transformation – it can change people’s moods, their outlook on life, and sometimes, it can unite the world,” said Jason Felts, CEO and Founder of VIRGIN FEST. “We are embracing the dream that music can bring to get us to a better place – for our fans, for our people, for our communities and for our planet. We envision a tomorrow where festivals live and breathe the extraordinary – VIRGIN FEST looks to lead that charge.”

VIRGIN FEST will honor the culture hub that is Los Angeles through its eclectic music roster, and celebrate the many communities that make this city incredibly unique. The focal sentiment “ALL ARE WELCOME” is reflected in VIRGIN FEST’s inaugural lineup and will ring true throughout the entire weekend experience. Inclusivity as a driving force will ensure the festival’s tagline is not just that, irrespective of race, color, pronoun, identity, gender, age, creed, ability, religion, political party, language, origin, heritage, traditions, background, education, income, career path, status, experience, viewpoint, beliefs, philosophies, ideas, shape, size, skill, style, appearance, music taste, who you voted for, what you’re into, how you live, who you know or who you love.

Equally imperative to a focus on people is a focus on planet. With sustainability as a core pillar of the festival, VIRGIN FEST felt naturally aligned with the forward-thinking initiatives of the city of LA, as well as the green building practices of the LEED certified Banc of California Stadium. Dedicated to their eco-conscious mission, VIRGIN FEST has announced their ban on all single use plastics onsite across the 2 days, in addition to a robust renewable energy and solar program to be shared in detail closer to the event. To further eliminate waste and give back to the community, all surplus food will be donated to local LA homeless shelters. To urge the use of public transportation and reduce the carbon footprint of the festival, VIRGIN FEST is partnering with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to offer four free single rides to get fans to and from the event on Metro buses and trains. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own water bottle or can purchase a collectible, reusable que Bottle® with their ticket to VIRGIN FEST. For those who prefer to purchase water on-site, Proud Source Water’s sustainably sourced and infinitely recyclable aluminum bottles will be available for sale.

“By combining Virgin’s signature hospitality and ingenuity with a strong sense of purpose, our team built the festival of tomorrow, today.” said Virgin founder, Sir Richard Branson. “We are proud to bring VIRGIN FEST to LA and to be on track to become one of the United States’ greenest festivals.”

In addition to 3 stages of music is BEYOND: an interactive world’s fair showcasing the creative minds, products and technologies shaping our collective future. An exploration of the mind, body and soul highlighting the next generation of immersive entertainment, technology like wearables, wellness, gaming, transportation and more via hands-on product demos and sampling. This real life experience will bring to life the ideas and innovations most have only read or dreamt about within a highly engaging environment meant to feed curiosity and challenge expectations of what is possible.
